Greetings!!!! ONE: You have never been here or you were here a long time ago!! So, we will make it different and fun!! TWO: In 2 days, you will marvel at the wonders of God's creation. You will set foot in Tanzania and see Kenya at 2300m Above the sea level. The lawn here is amazing, the air is fresh and the pines will spice the mood. THREE: Trust me, we will get you there and you will have fun THE ITINERARY DAY 1 We leave Nairobi @ 9:00am. We will make a couple of stop overs along the road. ooooh the road trip will be fun coz we won't be trekking on this day, so you can do all you want!!! We will pass through Amboseli and the plains of Embirikani, Isinet and Kimana. We should arrive at Kibo Slopes at 1600hrs where we will check in into our cottages. Each cottage has two bedrooms and a sitting room(Am posting the fotos) so, per bedroom it will be two guys and per cottage 4 guys! We will have games and fun at the facility and there is a bar where you can enjoy your favorite drink. Dinner will be served from 1830hrs. ( I will post the menu soonest) After that we will either enjoy ourselves at the bonfire and those who wanna shake a leg, we will take you to Oloitoktok town for music. We will however have to come back to sleep at 2300hrs since the next day we wake up early. DAY 2 ( Trek into Tanzania!!) We will wake up at 0800hrs. Take a drive through the town up to the starting point of our trek at Naleimoru. We will then take the slight ascending path to Snow Cap Resort. This is not a cumbersome climb but it's good if you stay fit before the date. We should be all at the finish line at 1pm where we will have lunch and relax before starting our journey back to Nairobi at around 3pm. Enjoy the best of Ngong Hills and Lunch at Olepolos Country club. 28th feb 2015 Charges at 1550/= pp Kenyans 1700/= Non-residents We shall converge at Hilton Bata at 7.00am which will be our pickup point then depart to Ngoong hills at 7:30am. The hike up Ngong Hills starts from Ngong town at the northern foot of the hills, 1,961m above sea level, and traverses the whole range to the southern end at Kona Baridi. This takes about 4 to 5 hour to complete, depending on fitness levels of participants. The first kilometer from Ngong Police Station is a gradual ascent through human settlements until you get to a barrier indicating the start of the Ngong Hills forest reserve. From here on, you go past a wind farm, before climbing the first steep hill leading to an area populated with Radio repeater station masts. The trail thins out and descends into a trough before emerging on to the next steep hill. Just when you think the worst is over, the rolling hills seem to keep popping up, with each taking its toll on you. Thankfully, the views all round are magnificent, making the effort worthwhile. On a lucky day, you are likely to encounter buffalos around the fourth hill, on account of the abundant bushes at these higher altitudes on the range. To your right is a fantastic view of the Great Rift Valley, while on the far left is a view of the City of Nairobi. Then we shall proceed to Oletepes Kiserian for lunch (Choma), swimming, mingle and refreshment.
