All other members of the "Big Five" are to be found in the Masai Mara.Wildebeest are the dominant inhabitant of the Masai Mara, and their numbers are estimated in the millions. Around July of each year these animals migrate in north from the Serengeti plains in search of fresh pasture, and return to the south around October.

The Great Migration is one of the most impressive natural events worldwide, involving about 1,300,000 Wildebeest, 360,000 Thomson's Gazelle, and 191,000 Zebra. These numerous migrants are followed along their annual route by predators, most notably lions and hyena.

Every July (or sometimes August), the wildebeest travel over 600 miles (960km) from Tanzania's Serengeti plains, northwards to the Masai Mara and the Mara River is the final obstacle. In October or November, once they have feasted and the grass has all but gone, they turn around and go back the other way

WILDEBEEST MIGRATION

Its that time again, the time for to witness the wildebeest migration, crocodiles making their kill at river mara..Come watch one of the seven wonders of the the world, its there time to migrate, your time to witness.our great chance to take you there, experience it,the Annual Wildebeest migration is making its way to the Maasai Mara!
Watch this space… this year come witness the Wildebeest migration with us!
Contact leny 0724 327 639,or ndunguleonard@gmail.com or inbox me for details

CAMPING AND LODGE SAFARIS OF ALIFE TIME!

CAMPING AND LODGE SAFARIS OF ALIFE TIME!

Your guides are paleontologists who have been involved in day to day findings, research, fossil hunters and have traveled bringing with them a world and wealthy experience in this human race.

Wednesday, June 1 at 9:30am - June 15 at 4:00am

Itinerary-
Day 1.Arrival in Nairobi by international flight. It stands majestically amidst vast open plains, inviting you to the challenge to climb to the top through the farms, rain forest, pass through the moorland, to highland desert and witness the eternal snow on "The Roof of Africa."

The Mountain

Kilimanjaro stands 330 kms south of the equator, on the northern boundary of Tanzania. Its location on an open plain close to the Indian Ocean, and its great size and height strongly influence the climate and thus its vegetation, animal life and climbing conditions.

Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa. It is composed of three extinct volcanoes: Kibo 5895m (19340ft), Mawenzi 5149m (16896ft), and Shira 3962m (13000ft). It is one of the worlds highest free standing mountains, its bulk looming 4800m above an undulating plain that averages 1000m above sea level.

On a clear day, it can be seen from more then 150 kms away. Its peak is permanently snow covered, though only 3 degrees below the equator. Kilimanjaro can be climbed by any physically fit person. No climbing experience is necessary.

Accomodation

A larger, central communal living, surrounded by a village of small sleeping huts along the Marangu Route. Other routes lack the essential facilities available along the Marangu Route.

Weather

Kilimanjaro can be climbed at any time of the year, but there are two rainy seasons - Late March to Mid June and October to November. The best Months are January to March and July to October, usually cloudless days. During the day temperature at 4000m tends to be 15°C. When the sun is covered, temperatures drop. At night, temperature falls to -10°C. At the summit, temperatures are about 5°C during the day and drop to between -18°C and -22°C at night.

Miscellaneous

Porters and guides accompany each group. The Kilimanjaro Central Control Unit has a reliable, equipped rescue team on the Marangu route. Equipment such as sleeping bags, mountain boots, thick sweaters, balaclava, gloves and so on are required, but we can arrange to have this equipment rented and ready for you to use. Kilimanjaro is not just a mountain to conquer, but also changing scenes and landscapes to enjoy, and rich in a wide variety of birdlife, flora and fauna.

Mount Kilimanjaro climbing Routes

Route(Click for Itineraries)

Description
Marangu Route TH330 Kilimanjaro Conquest

Out of the 6 routes to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, this is the most popular.

Masai Mara Migration Safari 6 Days

Minimum 2 People.

DAY 1: Nairobi - Amboseli
We pick you at the airport or your hotel in the morning hours and after tour briefing depart for Amboseli National park. (Friday, 9th, October, 09)
Departures from Nairobi to Nguruman (Entasopia), Guests are requested to arrive on time. Dinner is served at 9:00 pm and the rest of the night is all yours to enjoy. Accommodation will be provided.

DAY 2 (Saturday, 10th, October, 09 )
Breakfast is served at 6:00 am in preparation for the exciting hike up the Loita hills approximately 2330 meters high. Departure is 6:30am before the sun gets hot. The hike is full of beautiful panoramic view of Nguruman sceneries like the Ewaso Ngiro meanders across the plains, the great Rift Valley depression and lake Magadi. The climax of the hike is at the water fall where guests relax as they enjoy a cold water chilling session in the hot sun.
The wild barbecue party starts in the evening under the stars in the clear blue Magadi sky thereafter guests retire for the night in the pitched tents in the bush.
Few places offer a more genuine wilderness ambience than the Loita paradise. Occasionally visited, utterly un-spoilt ……. Truly a real hideout to have fun and relax.
